Offline listening
Listen to nature sounds offline.
Before a journey or a hotel stay, download every recording in your Oasis mix. The files stay on that device for offline listening while your Oasis access is active. Streaming a recording once does not save the complete file.
Prepare for a night in a hotel
Before leaving, choose one or two sounds you already enjoy. With active Oasis access, download them on your usual connection, then check that each recording is marked as available offline. In your hotel room, those recordings will be ready without relying on the hotel Wi-Fi.
Choose what to take with you
Open Downloads from the Mixer or an individual sound. Download every recording you want to use without a connection. If your soundscape blends several sounds, check that all of them are available offline.
Let the download finish
Keep Oasis open until the downloads finish. A Wi-Fi-only option applies to explicit downloads. Playing an online recording may use cellular data.
Check before you leave
After downloading, switch to airplane mode and play your soundscape. Generated sounds such as white and brown noise have no audio file to download. Buying or restoring Oasis access requires a connection.
Manage your storage
The download library shows the recordings saved on your iPhone. Remove a local copy to free space without deleting your saved mix. Download that recording again before you next need it offline.
Frequently asked questions
Do I have to download the whole library?
No. Choose the sounds you want to keep. Streaming lets you discover a recording before deciding to download it.
Is listening once enough to keep a sound offline?
No. Streaming uses a temporary cache. Use the offline download option and wait for it to finish to keep the complete file.
Do my soundscapes sync between devices?
No. Your mixes remain on the iPhone where you saved them. Downloading audio and saving the settings of a mix are separate actions.
Can I play white and brown noise without a connection?
Yes. These sounds are generated by the app and do not need an audio download.
