Rain on iPhone: Apple Background Sounds or Oasis.
Your iPhone already has a setting for a simple rain background. When you want to add wind, bring in birds or place each sound around you, Oasis lets you build a mix of your own. Here are both options, with a demonstration you can hear.

Start with the built-in iPhone setting
Open Settings, then Accessibility, Audio & Visual and Background Sounds. Turn it on and choose rain. The audio file downloads to your iPhone. You can also add the Background Sounds control to Control Center for quicker access. Labels and options may differ with your iOS version.
Listen before adding anything else
Keep the rain low enough to stay in the background. If you enjoy it as it is, you can stop there. Apple also offers controls for playback alongside other media and, depending on your system version, an equalizer and a timer.
Add wind to rain in Oasis
With active Oasis access, choose rain in the mixer and start playback. Add wind, then adjust its own slider. Keep rain in the foreground at first and bring the wind in gradually. Your preferred balance depends on your settings, headphones and taste.
Give each sound a place
Open a sound’s placement control to move it around you. Stereo headphones make the difference easier to hear. Return to the volume and listen to the whole mix for a moment. Remove a sound if the background becomes too busy.
Come back to your mix
Oasis access lets you save your own soundscapes and their settings. Choose a monthly or annual subscription, or the Oasis Infinite lifetime purchase. For listening without a connection, download each recording fully in the app before leaving. Playing a recording online does not by itself make it available offline.

Do I need Oasis to hear rain?
