What Oasis uses, and why.
Oasis does not require an account. Your settings and personal soundscapes stay on your device. Recordings can be streamed or downloaded for offline listening. Purchases, audio delivery and usage measurement involve the services described below. Contact support@jojolab.dev with questions about your data.
Data on your device
Mixer settings, saved soundscapes and offline downloads are kept locally. Personal soundscapes do not sync between devices.
Audio, purchases and restoration
Cloudflare delivers the audio files. Streaming and download requests pass through its infrastructure. Apple and RevenueCat handle purchases and restoration of Oasis access.
Usage and attribution
The app uses TelemetryDeck to measure product usage. Meta App Events measures acquisition for iOS installations from the App Store. Tracking permission is handled by the corresponding iOS prompt. You do not need an Oasis account to listen.
The Oasis website
Cloudflare Web Analytics measures aggregate website traffic without advertising cookies. The NEXT_LOCALE cookie remembers your language for one year. App Store links carry campaign identifiers based on language. Audio samples are served from this website.

Do I need an Oasis account?
No. An Oasis account is not required to listen to sounds or use the mixer.
What cookies does the website use?
The website uses only a preference cookie to remember your language choice. Cloudflare Web Analytics operates without advertising cookies or individual identification.
What happens when I buy or restore Oasis access?
These operations are handled by Apple and the technical services required to complete them. A network connection and the Apple Account used for the purchase may be required.
How can I make a privacy-related request?
